Sandra Rossi

Sandra’s relationship with yoga began 12 years ago, when she began practicing Ashtanga yoga while living on the west coast.  She found the profound connection of breath and movement transformed her physically, improved her quality of mind, created ease, and produced a strong sense of discipline that had not existed before.

After 6 years of practice, she completed training with mentor Tim Miller, and also completed her 200 RYT certification. With encouragement, she traveled to India to immerse herself in self-study and yoga philosophy at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute.  With the countless hours of workshops and practice with mentors such as Saraswati Rangaswamy, Monica Marinoni, Tim Feldman, Rolf and Marci Naujokat, and Kate O’Donnell, she has realized that the dedication to practice and the ‘self’ are the greatest teachers.

Grounded in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin principles, she incorporates breath, alignment, research poses, and modifications into her dynamic classes.  She hopes to help students make transformations in their lives through mindfulness, dedication, and setting strong foundations to expand from.
